We are proud to announce the launch of CASFER
CASFER took two years to get funded, and we’re finally here!
The CASFER vision is to enable resilient and sustainable food production by developing next generation, modular, distributed, and efficient technology for capturing, recycling, and producing decarbonized nitrogen-based fertilizers (NBFs).
CASFER brings together a diverse leadership and the convergence of a multidisciplinary team drawn from Texas Tech University, Florida A&M University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Case Western Reserve University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
“By 2050 the world’s population will climb over 10 billions people, increasing food demand by 70%. But there might not be enough to room to grow that food, with only 10% of land available for agriculture.”
